Once you start using two or more IM services you might notice it becomes pretty annoying to switch between all those applications to keep track of your conversations. Usually I have my IRC and MSN client running and facebook might occasionally get a tab in my browser too, thats three apps to check from time to time. There are a few apps out there like pidgin that can handle a wide array of these services. But since I live in the console I would prefer a cli app that can handle this. Enter bitlbe
