Yesterday I received two new VISA chip 'n pin cards from NedBank. As usual these cards were shipped directly to the branch of my choice, and arrived packaged in an envelope addressed to me. Opening the envelope reveals a simple informational letter from Graeme Holmes (Head of Consumer Cards) saying yada-yada about convenience, secure, cheaper, blah. The the card itself is attached towards the bottom of the letter slightly above a fancy new "Tamper Resistant" PIN revealer. Read the blog post linked to see how we hacked it. More
