Dr Maung Zarni, the Research Fellow on Burma at the London School of Economics, discusses about the political landscape in Burma ahead of the Nvember 7 elections. Speaking during a forum at the Kuala Lumpur Chinese Assembly Hall yesterday, he says that the election is more important to ASEAN than to the country's generals, and that there are geographical factors weighing against the people's revolution and resistance in the country.
