I’d like to start this by thanking Bassnectar for a fabulous festival. It was an absolute pleasure being present at their first Bass Island. First, location. I’ve been to numerous events on Governor’s Island, along with leisurely exploring the island. I was recently at Dance Here Now (for Laidback Luke and Benny Benassi), where the main stage/dance tent was setup by the Water-Taxi Beach, and two small stages back-to-back nearby.
