Cleveland Game Devs: Workshop on July 31st, 2010

[ www.pxlgames.com ] Hello everyone, as part of the Cleveland Game Developers meetup group I will be running another Tech Workshop event in Cleveland, Ohio on July 31st, 2010. This workshop will be held at a new location though; at the Cuyahoga Library Branch in Beachwood from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. At 1:00 PM I will be presenting a Power Point discussion on User Interfaces (UI) and User Experiences (UX) lessons I learned at a training seminar and how to apply those thoughts to your games. I will share some unique view points and concepts that designers, developers and artists might not consider when developing their products. Also, I am pleased to announce that at 2:00 PM Technical Architect Michael Robellard, creator of the Facebook game Railroad Empire, has graciously volunteered to share how he leveraged and used the Google App Engine as a free data back-end when creating his game.
