Der BürgerBus Westerstede bringt seit dem 01.06.2010 auf nunmehr insgesamt 7 Linien den Bürgern und Gästen in Westerstede eine bisher nie dagewesene regelmäßige, verbindliche, öffentliche und barrierfereie Mobilität. Dieses Projekt wird getragen zum einen durch öffentliche Fördergelder, Werbemittel und zahlreichen Unterstützern, aber in erster Linie durch den ehrenamtlichen Einsatz von derzeit ca. 40 FahrerInnen sowie der Arbeit des Vorstandes.
