We Were Birds is a collective of Copenhagen musicians with a variety of musical backgrounds in the ska, country, indie and alternative scenes.
The Free as in Bees EP was hatched in a Copenhagen basement that was later flooded during the massive rainstorms of the summer of 2011.
The songs are slices of life and imagination and deals with romance and loss in a sonic context of country, folk, soul and rock music.
All songs written, composed and produced by Henrik Chulu, recorded and mixed by Mikkel Szlavik. Mastered by Mikkel Gemzøe at C4.
