The mda VSTi plugins are famous for their sound. Unfortunately, there was no non-VSTi version of the plugin available. Luckily, the author of the mda plugins, Paul Kellett, published all of them under either the GPL or the MIT license.
So I downloaded the source code and rewrote it to fit the LV2 specifications. I just love the sound!
